My Background

I'm a former educator with 22 years of classroom and curriculum experience. I'm also an independent travel advisor affiliated with MEV / Travel Leaders Network, which means I work with real travelers planning real trips — not just writing about travel from a desk.

That combination — educator and travel advisor — is why this site exists. I know how adults actually learn languages (structure, repetition, real context), and I know what travelers actually need on the ground (phrases that work, cultural awareness that opens doors).
